A native South Carolinian, she also knows the market, having lived with her husband and children, Ashley, age 13, Hannah, age 9, and Ty, age 5, in the Simpsonville area for the last 16 years.
Both her mother-in-law (Pam Morrell, named 2003 REALTOR of the Year for SC) and mother (Sammie Ferrigan, Carolina One Real Estate) are REALTORS, providing Melissa with an even greater pool of knowledge and resources when it comes to servicing home buyers and sellers.
Melissa’s can-do attitude only strengthens in adversity. Komen for the Cure and was among the top 25 individual fund-raisers for the ’08 Race for the Cure. And, for 2009, Melissa earned the TOP INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISER for the Upstate Race for the Cure, thanks to the generous contributions of family, friends and fellow REALTORS. In 2010, she is serving as the Communications Chair on the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure Committee. She is also Team Captain for the Prudential C. Dan Joyner N. Pleasantburg Office Race Team.
